I am working on another site...
I am still hoping to get some more members to my infertility connections community so that we can start having live chats and planned events. If you are interested in being involved just click here and get registered. Be sure to make your profile so that others can learn about you and your story. I will be working on many more things as this subject seems to be on my mind 24/7 these days.

Should I wear a sign around my neck?
I am beginning to think I should wear a sign around my neck saying "NO I DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN YET...NOT BY CHOICE". I wonder if that would get the questions to stop. I have been struggling with infertility for 10 years now and you would think people would stop asking me why I do not have children yet. I mean come on, I have had 3 miscarriages, 5 IUI cycles, and many more treatments. Anyone with a brain should be able to figure out that it is not by choice I do not have children yet.
I just wonder if infertility is so foreign to people that have never had to deal with it. I think about infertility every day of my life and I guess I just assume others know that not everyone can conceive at the drop of a hat. I hope that one day infertility will be understood by all and not just the ones dealing with it. Things would be a lot easier if everytime I ran into someone I know, I wasn't being asked why I don't have any children yet. I may be the only one experiencing this but I kinda doubt it. If anyone else out there in internet land has any suggestions on how to educate the general population about the sensitivity of infertility please feel free to comment or click here to email me. I look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions.
P.S. I am going to wear one of these shirts everytime I go out.
